Self Hypnosis And Improving Memory
Hi there, I struggle tremendously with remembering in general. It feels sometimes as if I forget to protect myself somehow, even though I don't want to forget. Can this be helped with Self Hypnosis?
Sherri's Answer: Yes, self hypnosis can help you to remember things. Your subconscious mind holds all your memories of everything that you have experienced, heard, or seen. The trouble comes in when the conscious mind gets in the way. The conscious mind is the critical part of your mind which evaluates and criticizes information before accepting or rejecting it.
Self hypnosis helps because it will relax the conscious part of your mind so that you can access memories in your subconscious mind.
I once helped a woman to remember where she had placed an important piece of jewelry that she thought was lost forever.
You can start by reminding yourself that all your memories are already there, ready for you when you need them. My free report will help you with that. You can get that here: "How To Do Self Hypnosis"
One other thing... If you tell yourself constantly that you are the kind of person that forgets things, then you will begin to reinforce that belief by forgetting things.
If that sounds like you, then the first thing you will want to do is to change the way you talk to yourself.
