Declutter Your Mind and Improve Your Energy - Part One

If you want more energy then it's time to let go of those energy drainers! So many people are walking around carrying a lot of "clutter" in their minds.
What I mean is they are still holding onto all the things they say they should do and don't; the things they could do and don't.
It's like carrying around a heavy load of baggage and it keeps you from focusing on something more important instead.
Does this sound like you? Do you have a list of should's and could's? They hold you back from getting what you want because they take up space in your mind. Let go of them.
Here's how:
Take a close look at your day and get rid of this extra weight by asking yourself some questions that will help identify your energy drainers. Give yourself some time to answer the following question and be sure to write it down. That's because when you write the answers down, they become real. They become tangible.
What I am Putting Up With?
- Make a list of 10 things that you are putting up with at home
- Make a list of 10 things that you are putting up with at work
- Make a list of 10 things that you are putting up with in any other area of your life
Make an action plan to get rid of these things that you have been putting up with. Sometimes it's just a matter of deciding not to do them. You can just mark certain tasks "complete", draw a line through them and move on.
Don't underestimate the power of this exercise. Once you get started you will be able to let go of some of the things that have been taking up your valuable attention and energy - giving you time and space to bring more of the great things you want into your life.
You'll notice that you have more time and energy to focus on what counts. You will be able to focus more on the here and now as well as the future. The result? More happiness! You'll be able to enjoy all that life has to offer.
