De-Clutter Your Mind and Improve Your Energy Part 2
by Sherri Frost
If you took the time to do the exercise in Part One, then I know you got some good results.

When I start with a new coaching client, the "What Am I Putting Up With" exercise is one of the first things we do. I think it is such a powerful tool to use because it brings to light things that we don't even notice anymore.
Sometimes it isn't the big things in life stealing our energy. It's the buildup of little things. I've heard all kinds of things from a room that needs to be painted, a light bulb that needs to be changed to cleaning out the garage or shredding papers.
For me, one thing was my watch that ran out of batteries. There it sat on my dresser for more than a year. And every time I looked at it I could hear it nagging me. So it sat not only on my dresser, it sat in the back of my mind taking up space and energy.
I finally decided to take action and delegate. I gave some money to my daughter and sent her off to take care of it for me.
Either take care of it or cross it off the list. By the way, crossing it off the list is a very real way to handle it. What once seemed important to you may no longer be so. That lingering voice inside that nags you will go away.
Here's the next step.
Unfinished Business!
- Make a list of things that are unresolved or unfinished in your life
- Do you need to clear the air with anyone?
- Did you ever say that you were going to call someone or keep in touch with someone and have done nothing about it?
- Is there a thank you note that remains unwritten?
Let go of as many could's, would's, should's, maybe's and ought's as you can. Write these down.
What one thing can you do TODAY to get it off your list? You'll be glad you did.
